چکیده

Tomato is the most consumed vegetable in world. The tomato brown rugose fruit virus (ToBRFV) an important destructive that damages tomatoes and peppers with significant economic impact. detection characterization of this viral pathogen were evaluated at molecular morphological level. isolate was purified inoculated on pepper plants. Small RNAs sequenced both plants profiles compared. complete genome obtained, microRNA (miRNA) unveiled by small RNA sequencing. Symptoms caused also described morphology observed transmission electron microscopy. Our results contribute to further understanding role miRNAs ToBRFV pathogenesis, which may be crucial for disease symptom development peppers.

Detection and Phylogenetic Characterization of Human Hepatitis E Virus Strains, Czech Republic

To determine the origin of hepatitis E virus in the Czech Republic, we analyzed patient clinical samples. Five isolates of genotypes 3e, 3f, and 3g were obtained. Their genetic relatedness with Czech strains from domestic pigs and wild boars and patient recollections suggest an autochthonous source likely linked to consumption of contaminated pork.

Functional Characterization of SlSAHH2 in Tomato Fruit Ripening

S-adenosylhomocysteine hydrolase (SAHH) functions as an enzyme catalyzing the reversible hydrolysis of S-adenosylhomocysteine to homocysteine and adenosine. In the present work we have investigated its role in the ripening process of tomato fruit. Among the three SlSAHH genes we demonstrated that SlSAHH2 was highly accumulated during fruit ripening and strongly responded to ethylene treatment. ...

Hantaviruses in the Czech Republic

Chlamydiae, and plant plastids, and uses a specific DNA probe. We considerably decreased the risk of horizontal and vertical contamination of the PCR reaction by using uracil and uracil-N-glycosylase and by keeping reaction cups closed since the first amplification cycle. More importantly, our study showed that Parachlamydia DNA is rarely found in bronchoalveolar lavage samples (0.083%). This s...
